  1. Both these programs should work on any flavour of UNIX which has 'lex'.

  4. will turn English into bad English, such as one sees written by certain
  5. finnish persons.

  7. biffa:
  8. will turn English into Geordie, such as one hears spoken by Tynesiders.
  9. NB It contains rather a lot of bad language, for realism's sake.

  11. To create them in the current directory, type

  13. make all

  15. Use
  16. cat [file_of_text] | biffa | more
  17. and
  18. cat [file_of_text] | fin | more
  19. for endless hours of fun.
